Off to Utah!

I'm very excited to say that I get to go visit my brother Damion in Utah tomorrow. I should be going to bed right now because my bus leaves at 5am and I'm going to be running on about 2 hours of sleep by the time I get to Springville. I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures and let you guys know how the trip went!

Why the Foos??

Ok before I get to what I want to talk about, I would like to say I'm terribly sorry for not keeping up on my blog. I've guess I've just been lazy, but I'll try to be better. Anyways, now to my topic, as many of you may know my favorite band at the moment is the Foo Fighters. Why you may ask? I honestly have no idea. I can however tell you how I fell in love with them: I was living in Arizona browsing music pages on MySpace and I decided to look up the Foo Fighters and I was going through their list of songs and I heard the song "The Pretender" and I instantly fell in love! I've always kind of liked the Foos, but after "The pretender" I deemed them my favorite band and now, a year later, 1/5 of their songs occupy my 4GB iPod Nano. I just can't seem to get enough of them and I would love to make a movie based on my favorite FF songs; I think it would be rad, but also incredibly nerdy. I guess the reason why I like them, not just because they're a good band, but in some ways I can relate to their songs. They make a lot of my down days just a little bit better. My current favorite Foo songs are "My Poor Brain"(from The Colour and the Shape) and "Home" (from, Echos, Silence,Patience and Grace) just to name a couple. Well I guess I should get back to the homework I've been putting off for the last hour so bye for now!

P.P.S. I do love a lot of other bands too, they just happen to be my favorite.

Time to jump on the bandwagon

Well I figured since a lot of my family members have a blog, I figured "hey what the heck?" I mean there's nothing wrong with sharing some interesting snippets of my life with the world right? I'm not sure as to how well I'll keep this up, but I'll do my best to post on a somewhat regular basis. Anyways I'll start posting some stuff as soon as possible. For now good night!
